Financial controller

"Lords LB Asset Management" (Lords LB) is a leading pan-Baltic asset management company headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. Our focus is on real estate, renewable energy and infrastructure. We make our investments through investment funds domiciled in Lithuania which are ultimately regulated by EU AIF management directive. Lords LB currently manages these collective investment undertakings: 15 real estate funds, 1 private capital fund, 1 energy, 1 energy and infrastructure fund and 2 investment companies. The total value of assets managed by the collective investment undertakings exceeded EUR 1 billion at the end of December 2023.

With the growth of on-going business and expanding pipeline of potential investments in Poland, currently we are looking for a motivated financial controller to strengthen investment company TEWOX‘s team based in Warsaw. Tewox is a closed-ended investment company managed by Lords LB Asset Management. It currently owns and manages six retail parks across Poland. The investment strategy is to build a portfolio of grocery anchored convenience retail real estate properties in the Baltic Sea region

Job description:

  • Coordination of accounting and month/year end closing processes with the external accounting services providers
  • Verification of accuracy and completeness of financial information submitted by accounting (P&L, balance sheets, cashflow statements)
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting provided by accounting and its timely submission compliant with statutory deadlines
  • Collaboration with external valuators to accurately assess the fair value of investments and shares in general ledger
  • Coordination of the annual audit process, ensuring a timely and effective audit
  • Improving accounting processes and policies
  • Supporting Fund Manager and finance teams in our investments, incl. participation in budgeting process, forecasting and consolidation of portfolio reporting

Preferred requirements:

  • 2-3 years of expirience in the area of financial analyses, finance and accounting, preferably in commercial real estate
  • Curiosity, conscientiousness and integrity
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
  • Knowledge of polish GAAP; IFRS preferable
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
